Rubber Flat Roofing

For decades, thousands of industrial buildings worldwide were fitted with EPDM rubber roofs and now the switch to smaller, residential properties is underway. Rooftech is here to ensure you don’t miss out.

EPDM is an extremely durable synthetic rubber roofing membrane widely used in many low-slope buildings. Often up to 2 feet thick, EPDM rubber roofs can be installed either fully adhered or mechanically attached, with the seams of the roofing system sealed with liquid adhesives or specially formulated tape.

This environmentally friendly system has been used to cover the decking of flat roofs where the product is glued to the decking boards or substrates and can be installed on both new and existing roofs, overlaying the decking of the old roof, provided that it can carry the load of the new roofing system.

The excellence durability of a rubber roof means that it is highly resistant to ozone, UV radiation and extreme high or low temperatures which result in a life expectancy of up to 50 years, considerably longer than most other roof materials. That’s not all, the roof’s flexibility with temperatures enables year round installation.

Once installed by our Rooftech team, an EPDM rubber roof will require very little, if any, maintenance and this feature, combined with the membrane’s unique durability, result in a very low life-cycle cost. What more could you want?
